新的V850 比 V800 DAC 更著重模擬線路，電源，時鐘生成以及內部各項零件選材，還有雙單聲道轉換器和遙控。這些改進及調校都為產生更好聲音。

Violectric V850 看起來很像 V800，它們都具有V100和V200單元的典型外觀，風格，尺寸和感覺。機箱同面板均採用實心鋁材料製成，並採用 Nextel 塗層，而厚達 8mm 的前面板經過碾磨，噴砂處理和陽極氧化處理，更耐用之餘更可對抗外圍電磁干擾。

根據Violectric的說法，V850 DAC是一款頂級D / A轉換器，優秀的升頻元件，32bit 雙單聲道轉換器和非常特殊的模擬輸出作靚聲核心。再通過特別設計的可變低噪聲和低失真電路，DAC V850可滿足最高要求。

Case and back panel are made of strong aluminium and are Nextel coated. The 8 mm frontpanel is milled, sand-blasted and anodised. The labeling is laser engraved.
